Tiesha is a Research Specialist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. She is currently studying the role the Neurotensin system (NT) plays in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia in the Neuropsychopharmacology Laboratory of Dr. Charles Nemeroff, M.D., Ph.D. and Dr. Becky Kinkead, Ph.D.
Tiesha was born in Paterson, NJ where she spent all of her life until relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in 2000. She was married in 2003 and has one daughter. When she is not working or spending time with the family she enjoys reading, writing, viewing independent films, volunteering and most of all a warm relaxing bubble bath.
