Zhong is an Associate Researcher in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory School of Medicine. His current research interests include studying the electrophysiological effects of neurotensin and neuronal activity in the locus coeruleus and nucleus accumbens.
Zhong was born in the Peoples Republic of China. He recieved his B.S. in Physiology from Fudan University in 1957. Before coming to Emory University, Tang taught as a professor of Phiosology and Biophysics at Fudan University's School of Life Science for over eleven years.
Zhong enjoys reading, botony, and photography.
