The Trauma and Anxiety Recovery Program (TARP) offers clinical services and clinical research services to individuals suffering from various anxiety disorders including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder and other anxiety-related problems.

Currently we are recruiting participants for a research study investigating virtual reality exposure therapy in combination with medication as treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We are interested in talking with veterans who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and who are currently suffering with anxiety related to military service.

Interested individuals will be evaluated at a screening visit where a diagnostic interview and rating scales will be conducted to determine eligibility. A five-week treatment period will be followed by a post-treatment assessment.

If you or someone you know is interested in this study, please call (404)712-8300 or email Feea Leifker at fleifke@emory.edu.
