Bobbi Woolwine, M.S.W. |
Bobbi Woolwine is originally from Bristol, Virginia. She received an undergraduate degree in Psychology (BA) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a graduate degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Georgia. She has worked in the field of clinical research at Emory University School of Medicine since 1981 in the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Rehabilitation Medicine. Her areas of expertise include clinical trial management and the administration of psychiatric measurements in individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance abuse or depression within the Emory University and Grady Healthcare Systems.
Additionally, Ms. Woolwine is skilled in acquiring and interpreting electrophysiological data with human volunteers participating in sleep, cardiology, traumatic brain injury, stroke and spinal cord research. Currently, Ms. Woolwine is the Director of Research Projects in the Mind Body Program and is particularly interested in women’s health and the interrelationship of male and female sex hormones on mood, cognition and the immune system. |
