mmajer Matthias Majer, Ph.D.

Dr. Matthias Majer is a post-doctoral research fellow working with Dr. Miller at Emory University School of Medicine and a guest researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He graduated from University of Konstanz (Germany) in 2000 with a Masters degree in psychology with a major in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. He received his Ph.D. from the Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich (Germany) in 2003 after working as a Ph.D. student at the Max-Planck-Institute of Psychiatry, Munich. His thesis was focussed on neuropsychological dysfunctions in depressive disorders. After that he became a post-doctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute of Psychiatry and thereafter at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. His research interests are in the neuropsychology of psychiatric disorders.
