Services Provided

 

The Nia Project offers a variety of programs:

  • A free support group for women who have had suicidal thoughts and
    feelings: Mondays at 1:00 p.m.
  • A free support group for women who have experienced abuse. The group
    meets each Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
  • A free support group for couples who have experienced domestic violence. The couples group meets each Wednesday at 5pm.
  • A Resource Room where women can find information about domestic violence, suicidal behavior, housing, childcare, jobs, education, and counseling resources.
  • A listening ear for women who may need someone to talk to for support. Individual therapy is available for women who are involved in the Nia program.
