OVERVIEW:

The Combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residency is a five year program which integrates the categorical Internal Medicine residency program and the General Psychiatry residency program. Residents who complete this residency will be eligible for both the American Internal Medicine Board and Psychiatry Board exams. The five year residency is divided equally between Internal Medicine and Psychiatry rotations.

PARTICIPATING INSTITUTIONS:

The Combined Medicine and Psychiatry residents will rotate through during their residency training are the same as the Emory Internal Medicine residents and General Psychiatry residents. These include the following:
