African Americans with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder

Population:  African American males or females age 18 or older who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, shizoaffective or bipolar disorder.

Summary: The Emory University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is doing a research study to better understand schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. We are interviewing individuals who have been diagnosed with either of these two disorders.

Procedure: Single clinic visit lasting approximately 2 hours, screening questionnaire and diagnostic interview, small donation of blood for genetic studies.

Compensation: $50 for your time and contribution
