Non-psychiatric controls for understanding schizophrenia and bipolar disorder

Population:  African American males or females age 18 or older who have never been diagnosed with schizophrenia, shizoaffective or bipolar disorder.

Summary: The Emory University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is doing a research study to better understand schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. We are interviewing individuals who do not have either of these diagnoses to help us better understand differences in people.

Procedure: Single clinic visit lasting no more than 1 hr, screening questionnaire, small donation of blood for genetic studies.

Compensation: $25 for your time and contribution
