 Women's Mental Health Program

The Emory Women's Mental Health Program, established in 1991, focuses on the evaluation and treatment of emotional disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. The clinical program is complemented by both clinical and laboratory research into the causes of these conditions and their treatment.

The Emory University Mind-Body Program in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is a central resource for individuals interested in clinical and basic science research on mind-body interactions at Emory University. Visitors are invited to meet Emory investigators who are engaged in mind-body research. Individuals who are interested in participating in specific studies are encouraged to review our ongoing clinical projects.

Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program

The Emory Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program conducts studies of treatments for depression and anxiety disorders.  We are currently enrolling patients in studies funded by the National Institutes of Health that compare FDA-approved medications and specific talk therapy for the treatment of depression.  All participation is confidential and treatment is provided at no charge.  People interested in participating may call 404-778-6663.

TARP offers clinical services and clinical research services to individuals suffering from various anxiety disorders including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder and other anxiety-related problems.
